Energy Architecture was commissioned to design a blast resistant control room on an existing plant site.  EA reviewed both conventional construction and modular construction to determine which would be most cost effective for the client.  Ultimately, the client opted for a 6,000 SF modular control room designed withstand a 2.8psi blast at 2.9ms to a damage level of 2.   The building included offices, locker rooms, a small workshop, locker rooms and a control room.
