The Houston Technology Center renovation is a multi-phase project of 100,000 SF space including office spaces, clean rooms, electronic laboratories and support spaces.  Originally built in the early 2000s, the existing mechanical system was overhauled to meet the stringent standards for clean rooms and interior and exterior windows were added to provide natural daylight and showcase the laboratories.  Critical to the owner’s operations, the spaces could not be vacated for the duration of the project.  The Energy team worked closely with the Owner to create a phasing plan while staying on schedule and in budget.
